When Silence Speaks Because of You is the debut poetry collection by Miloš Brkić, originally published in Serbian in 2012 under the title Kada tišina progovori zbog tebe. The book introduces the emotional and lyrical world that would continue to shape his later poetry.
The collection moves through themes of youth, love, longing, vulnerability, silence, and the first deeper encounters with memory and emotional loss. Its poems carry the directness of an early poetic voice, but also a recognizable sensitivity toward what remains unspoken.
At its core, the book explores the moment when silence itself becomes a form of confession — when feeling becomes too strong to remain hidden, and the inner world begins to speak because of another person.
