…a deserted street beneath a darkened sky…
…the day melted into mist…
…a snowflake in the palm, a drifting dream…
…your breath…

In the Words of Others

Excerpts from reviews, literary criticism, and essays

Miloš’s writings carry remarkable strength and beauty, while in literary terms they form a highly distinctive kind of poetry — one that calls for a perceptive mind, able to smile at life in all its realities, and the capacity to meet even the most painful circumstances with laughter.
Ivan Ršumović
Writer
Brkić’s language is clear, resonant, and fluid, effortlessly readable — like soft music, neither too loud nor too quiet, so the ear does not strain but delights. It abounds in striking coinages, reflective expressions, meaningful words, comparisons, images, and stylistic figures that compel the reader to pause, reread, and immerse once more in their meaning and resonance.
Dr. Rade Vučićević
Literary critic and theorist
Miloš Brkić is a gifted poet whose work reflects both insight and self-discovery. His poems are distinguished by genuine sensitivity and lyrical unity, guided by the inner rhythm and ethereal quality inherent in youthful perception.
Radomir Andrić
Writer
Taken as a whole, Miloš’s poetry is indeed poetry viewed from another angle — the angle from which the poet has chosen to observe the world. That is no small thing. His task is to keep that position, to watch with care, to experience deeply, and to write with unwavering dedication.
Dušan Stojković
Writer
Brkić’s poetry turns toward the realm of the intimate circle and the inner eye — a space from which one moves beyond the world itself. It is complex, yet not hermetic, and the keys of intuition unlock it with ease.
